Who Can Join

Any Canadian citizen or citizen of an Allied nation who is 18 years of age or older is welcome to become a member of the Lynn Valley Legion.  We welcome all past and serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces, from all military campaigns, and all RCMP officers, and CAF/RCMP families. We also welcome all interested members of the general public.  Military affiliation is no longer a requirement, but it is gratefully recognized and appreciated.

Join Today!

For the Lynn Valley Legion, as with all Legion branches, every member counts.  We are a volunteer driven organization and rely on the special skills and knowledge of our membership to help us achieve our goals ensuring the Lynn Valley Legion continues to be a strong community resource and service organization.  As our Poppy Trust and BC Gaming funds cannot be used for Branch operations, our only sources of operating revenue are from membership dues and canteen sales (bar income).

Help local Veterans, meet fellow members, find a new gathering place, get involved in the Poppy Campaign, events and fundraising activities, live music and more. You can help perpetuate the Remembrance of those who gave so much for the freedom and prosperity we enjoy today and the proud heritage of this great Canadian organization will be enriched by the enthusiasm, energy and new ideas that you bring to it.  Become a member and help make a difference in your community!

Get Involved!
At the Legion, we are guided by three pillars: Remember, Join & Give:

Remembering allows us to reflect and honour long-term veterans and their families, and to be here to support a new generation of veterans.

Joining is all about membership and volunteering—the Legion is where belonging matters, and where you can make a real difference with your time and talent.

Giving means saying “Thank You” and “I care about my community”—with your cheque book, credit card—even your cell phone! Your financial contributions make a world of difference.
