Over the years, the Lynn Valley Legion has evolved into a vibrant community hub, providing our members, guests, neighbours, and friends with a welcoming place to gather, volunteer, connect, and support one another. We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels at home.
Gone are the days of the private Veterans' club of old. While our commitment to Veterans and Remembrance remains at the heart of everything we do, today's Legion welcomes those who have served, those who wish to support Veterans, those seeking friendship and connection, those looking to give back to their community, and anyone who wants to be part of a welcoming neighbourhood gathering place.
As the Royal Canadian Legion celebrates its Centenary in 2026, we are proud to continue a century of service while looking ahead to the next hundred years. To celebrate this historic milestone, membership is free for all new members throughout our Centenary year—making this the perfect time to discover everything the Legion has to offer.
In addition to supporting Veterans and their families, seniors, youth, and many community organizations throughout Lynn Valley and the North Shore, Branch 114 provides a welcoming place where members, guests, neighbours, and friends can gather and socialize. From delicious weekly food specials and live entertainment to televised sports, classes, speaker events, meat draws, bingo, and private functions, there's always something happening at the Lynn Valley Legion.
We are proud to be your local Lynn Valley Legion, serving our community since 1930. As part of Canada's largest Veterans' organization, we honour our past while continuing to build a welcoming community for generations to come.
OUR MISSION
To serve Veterans, including serving military and RCMP members and their families, to promote Remembrance, and to serve our communities and our country.
At the Legion, we are guided by three pillars: Remember, Join & Give.
Remember allows us to reflect on and honour Veterans and their families while ensuring the sacrifices of those who served are never forgotten.
Join is about belonging. Whether through membership, volunteering, attending events, or simply spending time with friends, the Legion is a place where everyone can feel at home.
Give means supporting Veterans, our community, and one another through volunteerism, fundraising, donations, and acts of kindness. Every contribution, big or small, helps make a meaningful difference.
